GungHo Online Entertainment America have confirmed a release date for Volta-X on Nintendo Switch.
This upcoming game has looked to blend real-time decision-making and strategy into a action-packed one-on-one battles.
You will have the chance to customise and operate your own giant robots – known as Voltas – while managing your crew of pilots as they build up their base from scratch.
That will see you unlock and upgrade new weapons as you climb the ranks, with “nearly endless customisation combinations” letting you improve your roster of Voltas.
With both a single-player campaign and player-versus-player battles – which will support cross-platform play between the portable home console and PC – you will try to become the best in the World Volta Association (WVA).
Volta-X will release exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 12th August 2020 priced at $19.99.
