Having already stormed the pages of CoroCoro Comic, The Pokémon Company International has now revealed rare Mythical Pokémon Volcanion.
Unique in becoming the only Pokémon to be both a Fire and Water-type, Volcanion becomes another Pokédex addition that cannot be captured during normal gameplay.
Sharing more detailed information about the Pokémon, we now learn that it “uses fire and water to create steam within its body, expelling explosive shock waves and scalding steam from the arms on its back.” That power is said to have such strength that it can destroy an entire mountain, tearing at the earth and forever changing the shape of the land.
The new Pokémon is awaiting discovery in Pokémon Omega Ruby, Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, with news on how to obtain Volcanion to be shared in the near future.
