You may remember when the news broke that Virtuos was working on an AAA port for Nintendo Switch, casting immediate speculation as to what it could be.

The content production company had revealed that they were developing for the portable home console earlier this year, and had previously collaborated with Square Enix, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and Ubisoft on Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, Batman: Return To Arkham, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster.

Well, it turns out that the port was L.A. Noire. The Chinese developer has shared their enthusiasm about working with Rockstar Games on the blockbuster detective thriller’s return, that casts the player as the decorated veteran and newly minted detective Cole Phelps, as he investigates an escalating series of cases in 1940’s Los Angeles.

Now making a return on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and with a new virtual reality experience on HTC Vive, the Nintendo Switch version will have the complete original game with all downloadable content and has console-specific enhancements such as a Joy-Con mode with gyroscopic, gesture-based controls, HD rumble, new wide and over-the-shoulder camera angles, and contextual touch screen controls for portable detective work.

L.A. Noire will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 14th.
