Nintendo has revealed the launch lineup for Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics, which will be released for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers next month.
Exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, through Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics, you will have the chance to play selected games from the company’s original stereoscopic 3D console.
To experience them, you will need Joy-Con or Joy-Con 2 controllers and a dedicated accessory based on the Virtual Boy hardware, in which you must insert your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console.
The games that will be launching alongside the accessory are 3-D Tetris, Galactic Pinball, Golf, Red Alarm
Teleroboxer, The Mansion of Innsmouth and Virtual Boy Wario Land.
There are more games promised to be added “throughout 2026,” which include Mario Clash, Mario’s Tennis, Jack Bros., V-Tetris, Vertical Force and Virtual Bowling. You can also look forward to playing two never-before-released games in Zero Racers and D-Hopper.
Each game will support Rewind, allowing you to easily rewind gameplay and try again when you make a mistake, and View / Change Controls, letting you check and freely remap what each button does in the game that you are playing. Future updates will also add the ability to let you change the screen colour.
Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics will be released for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on 17 February 2026.
