Nintendo has revealed that Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics is coming soon to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct presentation.
Exclusively for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members, you will have the chance to play selected games from the company’s original stereoscopic 3D console.
To experience them, you will need Joy-Con or Joy-Con 2 controllers and a dedicated accessory based on the Virtual Boy hardware, in which you must insert your Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch console. That will let you play games like Mario’s Tennis, Galactic Pinball, Teleroboxer, and more as they release over time.
Virtual Boy: Nintendo Classics will be released for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on 17 February 2026.
