As his Kickstarter campaign to support a third album draws to a close, Video Games Live creator Tommy Tallarico has shared his latest symphonic arrangement.
It is Super Mario World’s theme song that he has turned his attention to, reawakened through the 70-piece orchestration to which you can listen here.
“A lot of people always ask me what my favorite video game of all time is, and I always say Super Mario World! I think from a design, control and gameplay standpoint it is the perfect game,” Tallarico explains. “It also has the most impressive Mario music in the entire franchise in my opinion.”
His campaign to fund a third album titled Video Games Live: Level 3 currently sits slightly shy of its $250,000 goal, with $217,994 pledged at just three days to go.
