Hero Concept has announced that their urban fantasy-themed beat ’em up Mayhem Brawler is coming to Nintendo Switch.

With comic book-inspired hand-drawn backgrounds, frame-by-frame animation and a “kick-ass” soundtrack, this has looked to bring back the ’90s arcade vibe to the present day.

While answering a routine call on a patrol, Dolphin, Star and Trouble – who are the most popular officers at Stronghold, the super-powered law enforcement agency – find themselves in a sequence of events that will alter the fate of the entire city.

Whether playing solo or in the game’s offline co-op mode for up to three players, you must use your arsenal of combos and special abilities to make life miserable for the super-powered criminals that you are confronted with.

Mayhem Brawler will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
