It has been revealed that SEGA have added an unlockable Super Sonic mode to 3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
This requires that players that beat Sonic’s second adventure on any mode, which will reward you by unlocking the extra mode upon completion. When activated, this will allow players to start the game having automatically collected every Chaos Emerald and with 50 rings so that they can turn into Super Sonic whenever they wish.
3D Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan, with a western release planned in the coming months.
