Double Fine Productions has announced that Broken Age will release on Nintendo Switch, their timeless coming-of-age story of barfing trees and talking spoons.
With an original orchestral soundtrack and an all-star vocal cast that includes Elijah Wood, Jennifer Hale and Jack Black, you will play as Vella Tartine and Shay Volta – two teenagers in strangely similar situations but radically different worlds.
Vella is chosen by her village to have the honour of being sacrificed to the terrible monster Mog-Chothra, but, understandably having no interest in being devoured by a horrible beast, she decides to go against ages-old tradition and escape.
Meanwhile, somewhere in space, Shay lives a solitary life under the care of a very motherly computer. But, while his every need is taken care of in every way imaginable, he wishes for nothing more than to break free from the monotony and have some real adventures.
Broken Age will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2018.
