Unepic and Ghost will soon see release on Nintendo Switch, with the news coming straight from developer Francisco Téllez de Meneses.
Unepic is a 2D RPG platformer that has previously seen release on Wii U, which, surprisingly, Téllez de Meneses reveals was the platform where it saw the strongest sales.
It sees players cast as Daniel, who, after taking a toilet break when playing a tabletop RPG, soon discovers that he has been teleported to a castle. Challenged to kill Harnakon and free the Pure-Spirits that are trapped within, he must explore 200 rooms and topple seven bosses – with 100 different weapons, 70 spells, and upgradeable skills to help him.
Whereas Ghost 1.0 is a Metroidvania in which two super hackers hire a mysterious agent to infiltrate the Nakamura Space Station in an effort to steal the greatest electronic secret, ever. With the space station defending itself against intruders, you must destroy their defences as things soon become more complicated when the hackers uncover their agent’s hidden ties.
Unepic is targeted to release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in late 2017, with Ghost 1.0 to follow months later.
