Underwater Puzzler SILT Out On Nintendo Switch Next Month

Fireshine Games and Spiral Circus Games have announced that their surreal underwater puzzle-adventure SILT will release on Nintendo Switch next month.

Set in a harrowing ocean abyss, alone in an underwater void a diver searches for long-forgotten mysteries. That will see you explore dangerous waters and harness their unusual power to possess sea creatures while venturing ever-deeper into the darkness.

The publisher has outlined the game’s key features as below:

  • Experience a surreal underwater world – Traverse stunning underwater vistas to discover unexplored ruins and ancient machinery hidden in the deep.
  • Discover the diver’s secret – Possess diverse and distinctive sea creatures, using their unique abilities to solve puzzles and travel deeper into the void.
  • Survive the abyss – Survive encounters and harness the power of deep-sea goliaths to awaken a long-dormant force at the centre of the abyss.
  • A harrowing journey deep beneath the surface – Explore an unsettling, monochrome world with a distinct hand-crafted feel, constructed from the sketches and dark imagination of artist Mr Mead.

“SILT’s development has taken us on an incredible journey and we can’t wait to share our underwater adventure with players next month,” explains Spiral Circus Games art director Tom Mead. “Creating an atmospheric world that plays into our own fears of the deep while delivering a unique experience has been our focus right the way through development, and we are truly honoured by the anticipation and support for the game as we count down the weeks to release.”

Fireshine Games marketing director Sarah Hoeksma adds: “We’re really excited for players to dive into Spiral Circus’ debut deep-sea adventure on June 1st. The studio has crafted an experience that we’re confident fans of puzzle-adventures will enjoy, and we’re looking forward to players discovering what awaits them in the deep in a few weeks’ time.”

SILT will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 1st June 2022.
