Ubisoft have responded to the outcry from Wii U owners yesterday, following news of a seven month delay to Rayman Legends.
Having commented that they “will continue to listen” to feedback, they explain that they are working to see whether a “new, exclusive demo” can be released for Wii U shortly.
“Thanks for all your feedback regarding Rayman Legends in all of its forms,” Ubisoft’s response through Facebook began. “We have heard you and we will continue to listen. We understand your frustration and that you want to get your hands on the game.”
They then promised: “We are working with the development team to provide you with a new, exclusive demo for the Wii U soon. Stay tuned for more.”
Before yesterday’s announcement, Rayman Legends had previously been confirmed as a Wii U exclusive and was mere weeks from launch – February 26th across North America, and March 1st for Europe. The game will now release in early September, across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii U.
