Ubisoft has teased that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is in development, news that it has shared alongside updating what the publisher has “planned for the rest of the year across the Assassin’s Creed franchise.”
“Speculation around Assassin’s Creed is not new, but it’s worth repeating: ‘Nothing is true. Everything is permitted,'” the publisher wrote in a blog update. “Well, except in this case, some whispers have a little more wind in their sails. Keep your spyglass on the horizon.”
Rumours have been rife about the Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remake for months, and even that, after Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been ported to the portable home console, it could be coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be released at retail and digitally worldwide in 2026.
