Ubisoft has been encouraged by the reaction to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and have “more things” planned for Nintendo Switch, although aren’t quite ready to share any details just yet.
The company has been a key supporter early in the portable home console’s lifecycle, having released games such as Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition, Just Dance 2018, Monopoly, and UNO. But, at this point, we only know that Starlink: Battle for Atlas and Steep are still on the way.
“This relationship continues to grow, and we are very happy with what we were able to achieve with Mario + Rabbids [Kingdom Battle],” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot shared in a conference call to discuss more on the company’s third-quarter sales.
“Let’s also not forget the fact that [the] Just Dance [series] is also a big seller on the Switch, and that it will continue to follow the growth of that machine. And yes, in the future we are going to do more things – we just can’t go over that right now.”
