QUByte Interactive and VISCO have revealed that VASARA Collection will release on Nintendo Switch this month.

This two-in-one bundle packages the Japanese arcade shoot ’em ups VASARA and VASARA 2, and introduces an exclusive new game mode with widescreen and local co-op multiplayer for up to four players.

The games are set in an alternate timeline where technologically advanced weaponry and equipment have become a reality in Feudal Japan, where heroes use flying motorcycles with devastating firepower and fierce melee weapons to obliterate their enemies.

With Tate Mode (or Vertical Mode) support, you will have the chance to play as nine different characters that take inspiration from real Japanese historical figures.

That will see you fight warships, battle tanks, giant robots, evil soldiers and rogue Samurai, all in an effort to prevent Feudal Japan from being taken over by tyrannical forces.

VASARA Collection will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 15th priced at £8.99 ($9.99), with a 50 percent pre-order discount at £4.49 ($4.99).
