Amazon and Nintendo have teamed up to offer Twitch Prime members a free 12-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription.
You can start claiming this from today, simply requiring that you log in to the promotional website. Initially, Twitch Prime members can receive a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription. And then, after “60 cumulative days of active Twitch Prime membership” have passed, they can return to the same website to add another nine-month subscription to that.
The best news is that this offer isn’t limited to new subscribers, as those that have already subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online can use it to extend their existing membership. However, that only applies to individual subscriptions and not family memberships.
Twitch Prime members have until 24th September 2019 to claim their three months of Nintendo Switch Online, and until 22nd January 2020 to claim the additional nine months.
“We’ve teamed up with Nintendo to bring members up to a full year of great experiences on Nintendo Switch,” explains Twitch Prime vice president Ethan Evans. “Gaming is better with Twitch Prime— members already get free PC games and in-game loot for blockbuster games, a Twitch channel subscription, and more every month, plus all the benefits of Amazon Prime.”
The Nintendo Switch Online membership is required for online play and Save Data Cloud backup for compatible games, a collection of classic NES games with added online play, a smartphone app that enhances features of supported games, and special offers.
