TumbleSeed Rolls Toward Nintendo Switch Release On May 2nd

A small seed with big dreams continues to calmly roll towards a Nintendo Switch release, with news that TumbleSeed will soon sprout on the Nintendo eShop early next month.

Awarded with an honourable mention at the 2017 Independent Games Festival, this quirky creation from developer aeiowu places players in control of a small seed that is determined to scale a procedurally generated mountain to save its home.

Seeing that it’s infested with corrupted creatures, the rolly roguelike will require that you balance the seed – dodging the holes that the mountain is riddled with while collecting upgrades that will help you roll ever higher.

TumbleSeed will also use the Joy-Con’s HD Rumble, which will help to provide players with a sense of how fast they are rolling around the game’s colour-infused, and deceptively challenging, world.

TumbleSeed will release for Nintendo Switch on the Nintendo eShop on May 2nd.
