The release of Trine 2: Director’s Cut across Australia and New Zealand is currently “stuck in the submission process,” according to developer Frozenbyte.

Similar issues are also halting a title update for Europe and North America, which will introduce improved graphics, voice chat and support for the Wii U Pro Controller.

“Long story short, we have been stuck in the submission process and are now once again waiting for approval, although next week is looking promising,” Frozenbyte’s marketing manager Mikael Haveri explained. “Sorry for all the trouble.”

He later expressed his hope that such a delay will be resolved by the end of January.

Trine 2: Director’s Cut is currently available for Wii U through the Nintendo eShop across Europe and North America.
