Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is Game Informer’s October cover, and as part of the publication’s exclusive coverage they challenged Treyarch design director David Vonderhaar to answer 195 rapid-fire questions.
When asked as to whether there was any chance that the game was coming to Nintendo Switch (6:51), Vonderhaar laughs uncontrollably for a few seconds before replying “I just make the shoes.”
Treyarch had built a reputation for their work with Nintendo’s consoles, porting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare – Reflex and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to Wii as well as Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Call of Duty: Ghosts to Wii U, among others.
There was a rumour that Call of Duty Battle Royale would release on the portable home console as a standalone release, which was soon revealed as Blackout.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC worldwide on October 12th.
