PIXELAKES has announced that Treasure Stack has been delayed on Nintendo Switch, in an effort to make the game the best that it can be.

“Stacking ain’t easy. Sometimes when you’ve lined up the perfect combo (launch), a surprise block (a delay) shakes it all up,” the developer explained.

“To make sure you get the best Treasure Stack possible, we’ve made the hard decision to delay until early 2019. Thanks for all your support!”

In Treasure Stack, you will be challenged to jump, grapple and stack in an experience that fuses falling block puzzle mechanics with platformer elements. You must use a grappling hook to snatch falling blocks to stack them and create matches.

There’s the chance to test your skills in Challenge mode, compete with friends in Local Versus mode or battle head-to-head in Online Versus – which not only has season-based rankings but cross-platform support.

Treasure Stack will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in early 2019.
