Billy Goat Entertainment has announced that their jovial point-and-click adventure Her Majesty’s SPIFFING will release on Nintendo Switch next month.
The quaint graphic adventure game traces the exploits of Captain Frank Lee English and his trusted Welsh colleague, Aled, on the HMSS Imperialise as they travel through the cosmos searching for planets to claim for the new Galactic British Empire.
It will be down to players to help in Her Majesty’s SPIFFING (Special Planetary Investigative Force For Inhabiting New Galaxies), solving mental and physical puzzles while readily chuckling away at what promises to be a sharp and witty script.
“People should buy SPIFFING because I overdid it at Christmas and could do with the cash,” laments Billy Goat Entertainment director and game writer, William Barr.
“The game takes inspiration from/plagiarises everything from Monty Python to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. In short, it’s about as British as a game can be, in that it deftly undermines everything we hold dear about this damp collection of islands from beginning to end.”
Her Majesty’s SPIFFING will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on February 2nd.
