Hasbro and Outright Games have revealed plans to release a Transformers: Battlegrounds Digital Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch.

This will include the full game, four Autobot skin packs and an exclusive arcade game mode called CUBE.

This greatest sport in the galaxy will see Autobots and Decepticons take each other on to battle it out to keep control of the CUBE in four different arenas.

UK developer Coatsink is behind this single-player and multiplayer action game “for kids and fans of all ages,” which has once again looked to bring the timeless war between the Autobots and Decepticons to life.

With Megatron closing in on the Allspark, Bumblebee and the Autobots need a new commander to help them save Earth and battle it out in locations such as Central City and Cybertron.

Transformers: Battlegrounds will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 23rd October 2020. Those that pre-order can receive exclusive Nemesis Prime and Goldfire Bumblebee skins.
