NIS America has announced that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle on Nintendo Switch has suffered a delay.
That sees the bullet-hell battle game’s arrival pushed back, after previously being scheduled to release across Europe and North America in early September.
“We regret to inform that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita will have a new release date of October 10 in North America and October 13 in Europe to accommodate the production and manufacturing of the game,” the publisher confirmed in a statement.
In Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle, players take control of one of nine Touhou characters, eliminating their opponent in a 3D square arena by using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards. Players can take to the sky to perform dashes, double-jumps and mid-air dashes to avoid incoming bullets, with local and online rankings challenging you to become the ultimate Touhou fighter.
Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will release on Nintendo Switch in North Amerca on October 10th, and in Europe on October 13th.
