PlatinumGames executive director and producer Atsushi Inaba has revealed that they are working on “something new and innovative” that hasn’t been seen before.
The “top-secret” game is even being kept hidden away from the eyes of the developer’s staff, potentially meaning that it may even involve an unexpected collaboration.
“Actually, there’s a really interesting bunch of different games that we’re working on,” Inaba explained at BitSummit Vol.6, through a translator. “But one of those is probably going to be something new and innovative that you’ve never seen before.
“And it will turn the action genre on its head. There are a lot of people in PlatinumGames that don’t even know about this top-secret title.”
PlatinumGames is also working on Bayonetta 3, a project that Hideki Kamiya re-confirmed that he is involved with in some capacity.
