If you were left wondering why Just Dance 2020 will still release on Wii, then we may now have the answer.
After the game’s reveal at the Ubisoft E3 2019 conference, NPD Group games industry analyst Mat Piscatella shared the top five bestselling games for Wii in the United States last year.
The results for that list were as follows:
- Just Dance 2019
- Just Dance 2018
- Just Dance 2017
- Just Dance 2016
- New Super Mario Bros. Wii
So, there’s our answer. It still remains a popular yearly purchase for the console. As many have pointed out this week, it’s also worth mentioning that the Just Dance games are used for medical rehabilitation – whether that be helping those recovering from injury or surgery, or simply keeping people active.
