Crystal Dynamics and Aspyr have announced that Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.
The game looks to explore the “intense and gritty” origin story of Lara Croft and her ascent from a young woman to a hardened survivor. Armed only with raw instincts and the ability to push beyond the limits of human endurance, Lara must fight to unravel the dark history of a forgotten island to escape its relentless hold.
This has seen the base game optimised for the portable home consoles, bundled “with all the content from the original release.”
The publisher has outlined the port’s key features, which include:
- All DLC Included: Comes with all previously released downloadable content, including six bonus outfits for Lara, eight online multiplayer maps, and four multiplayer characters.
- Online Multiplayer: Yes, the 8-player online multiplayer is included! Team up with (or fight against) fellow survivors.
- Digital Bonus Content: Get a look behind the scenes with digital versions of the Dark Horse comic Tomb Raider: The Beginning, the mini-art book Tomb Raider: The Art of Survival, and the “Final Hours of Tomb Raider” developer video series.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch worldwide.
There is a 10% launch discount available until Monday 24 November, with an additional 10% loyal discount to those who own Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and another 10% loyalty discount for those who own Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered on Nintendo Switch.
