Moulinsart and Microids have announced that Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh will release on Nintendo Switch next year.
Developer Pendulo Studios will adapt the iconic adventure from Hergé’s The Adventure of Tintin comic book series After the famous reporter and his faithful dog Snowy meet the Egyptologist Sophocles Sarcophagus while on a Mediterranean cruise, they decide to investigate Pharaoh Kih-Oskh’s tomb.
Promising to immerse you in “the captivating comic book’s universe” and make you “the heroes of an epic action adventure masterpiece,” you will journey from Egypt to India and Arabia as Tintin and Snowy trace a lead on narcotics trafficking all the way to the Far East.
“Being able to work on an adaptation of the famous Belgian reporter’s adventure is a delight,” enthuses Microids CEO Stéphane Longeard. “We started working on the game a few years ago and we cannot wait to show more to our players worldwide. If I had one thing to add, I’d say that we’ll do everything in our power to pay tribute to Hergé’s work and offer the fans the adaptation of their dreams.”

Tintin Reporter: Cigars of the Pharaoh will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
