Timmy & Tommy Nook and Famicom R.O.B. amiibo destined for North America

Original Story: We have caught our first glimpse at the Ryu amiibo thanks to an in-store display at Toys R Us, but another at Target has provided some additional surprises.

Snaps taken by Reddit user PlumpUnicorn have revealed that Nintendo plan to release a Timmy & Tom Nook amiibo in the Animal Crossing series, which will be exclusive to Target in the United States.

While it appears that Nintendo of America plan to launch the Famicom R.O.B. amiibo in the region, with the design having so far only been available in Japan.

There’s no indication as to when these will arrive aside from ‘Coming Soon!’ But, they do appear alongside the Lucas amiibo and Series 2 of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards scheduled to launch on January 22nd. Wolf Link amiibo – as well as the Wolf Link amiibo releasing with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on March 4th.
