As rumoured earlier this year, Nintendo has announced plans to release new amiibo in The Legend of Zelda 30th anniversary series.

The news came in this week’s Nintendo Direct, in which it was shared that three new amiibo based on Link’s character designs in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will arrive at retailers worldwide on June 23rd.

These amiibo will help players randomly unlock related content in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, such as: the Fierce Deity Mask, Fierce Deity Armor, Fierce Diety Boots and Fierce Deity Sword; the Cap of the Sky, Tunic of the Sky and Trousers of the Sky; and the Cap of Twilight, Tunic of Twilight, Trousers of Twilight and Twilight Bow.
