THQ: “We are excited about the prospect” of the new Nintendo console

During a investors Q&A session following THQ’s financial results briefing held yesterday, the publisher commented that they are incredibly “excited about the prospect of new hardware next year” in regards to Nintendo’s impending reveal of their latest console system.

“We are excited about the prospect of new hardware next year and look forward to working on that system,” the publisher stated. With a query as to the technical specification of Project Cafe, THQ responded that they were “going to respect Nintendo’s request to disclose the details about their system as they see fit.”

Whilst their comments were relatively short, it is to be expected that all publishers and developers are to remain firmly tight-lipped until Nintendo unveil the system during their E3 2011 press conference.

Such an occasion is now just over a month away, and we, like everyone else, can’t wait!
