We saw that THQ Nordic had been listed as a third-party partner that has confirmed their intention to support Nintendo Switch, and now, more specifically, we learn that they have two games in development for the home gaming system.

THQ Nordic, who recently rebranded to reflect the key acquisitions that they had made after THQ’s bankruptcy, now own an IP portfolio that boasts Darksiders, Red Faction, De Blob, Destroy All Humans!, and Deadly Creatures.

“It’s an interesting approach in my opinion as Nintendo is trying to broaden its audience and not just purely tapping into explored markets,” THQ Nordic business and product development director Reinhard Pollice shared with Nintendo Everything, reflecting on the Nintendo Switch preview trailer. “I hope it will work out!”

When asked to confirm that the publisher is actively developing games for the console, he added: “We do have two projects in development for Switch.”

Take-Two Interactive recently praised the “great effort” that Nintendo was making to help third-party partners that have chosen to support Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
