VooFoo Studios has announced that This Is Pool will release on Nintendo Switch, building on the developer’s experience in creating Hustle Kings and Pure Pool.
It has looked to set a new standard for graphical fidelity and hyper-realistic gameplay in how good a cue sports game can look and play.
That will deliver “the most robust, expansive and feature-rich cue sports game to date,” content-packed with every major rule set that’s played worldwide, practice mode, mini-games, career mode, arcade trick shots and scenario challenges.
You will also be free to customise the rule-set, compete in local and online multiplayer and have the chance to play with a top-down camera view.
“This Is Pool represents the culmination of all our years’ experience making market-leading cue sports simulations and will offer a much-enhanced experience to anything we’ve created before,” explains VooFoo Studios technology director Mark Williams.
“We’ve rewritten the rule-book to create the most realistic, technically advanced cue sports game ever made that is going to take the genre to the next level.”
This Is Pool will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in early 2019, and will be playable at EGX in Birmingham this week in the Rezzed Zone.
