With Nintendo recently announcing that following the Nintendo 3DS’ November system update developers would be able to offer post-release downloadable content, it would appear that we now know the first publisher that has plans to make use of such opportunity.
Square Enix have announced that rhythm-action game Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, which already includes over fifty songs taken from across the history of the series on the cart, may be expanded through post-release content in the form of additional music.
However, we’ll have to wait for Square Enix to make a more formal announcement regarding exact plans – we’ll keep you posted.
