Renowned composer Nobuo Uematsu recently played Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, revealing that the outcome of such experience is that he “was reduced to tears”.

Not in a bad way, of course, with Uematsu stating that the game brought back memories from working on the series over the past twenty years. He then recommended that fans of the series’ music should purchase the game, so that they can reminisce too.

“I played Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy for the first time today. Not too shabby!” Uematsu wrote on popular social media site Twitter. “As I remembered various things from the past 20 years, I was reduced to tears. FF music fans should definitely play it. Won’t you cry with me?”

Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy is set to launch across Japan tomorrow, with no word as yet on a western release.
