PlatinumGames has launched a Kickstarter campaign to release The Wonderful 101 Remastered on Nintendo Switch.
In under an hour, the campaign has already been funded, with early backers carrying it to meet the initial $50,000 goal to see the Unite Action Game release on the portable home console.
It will now target stretch goals to secure release on Steam ($250,000) and PlayStation 4 ($500,000), which will need to be met before the Kickstarter campaign comes to an end on Friday 6th March 2020.
The Wonderful 101 could release for Nintendo Switch as early as April, with plans to release free downloadable content for the game in the coming months.
“The Wonderful 101 is a game that represents our passion for making games and dedication to quality, and one that we want to reach as many people as possible,” PlatinumGames explains.
“Now, with the support of Nintendo, we have been given the opportunity to bring this game to the Nintendo Switch and other platforms as well! This is an amazing opportunity, and an important step toward our goals.”
