Aksys Games has announced that the “rich and emotional” otome adventure Over Requiemz is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Based on The Wizard of Oz, this “dark reimagining” of the classic tale sees high school student Yuhiru swept up in a terrifying tornado that mysteriously lands her in Oz. Ruled by four witches and the king, Yuhiru is not welcome in this faraway kingdom and is sentenced to death upon her arrival.
Ordered to travel with four murderous convicts on death row and their secretive supervisor, your group must investigate ruins that look like home but are dilapidated and infested with monsters.
At the mercy of her unexpected companions, Yuhiru must face many hard decisions on her journey. There’s one thing that she must always bear in mind: No one is lost forever, no matter how far they’ve strayed.
Over Requiemz will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2026.
