CD Projekt RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 next month.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered modernises the generation-defining open-world role-playing game with a range of upgrades and enhancements to visuals, performance, gameplay, and more,” the developer writes.
“Become monster slayer for hire Geralt of Rivia and journey across the war-torn Northern Kingdoms to find your adopted daughter, Ciri, before the spectral forces of the Wild Hunt take her incredible power for their own. Included in Remastered are two critically acclaimed expansions – Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine – to expand the legendary story even further.”
Those who already own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on the original Nintendo Switch will be able to claim Remastered for the portable home console’s successor from launch.
“For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt owners looking to upgrade to the Remastered version for Nintendo Switch 2: if you own the game digitally, you can now pre-order the Remastered version for free on Nintendo eShop. If you own a physical copy, don’t worry – you’ll be able to claim the free upgrade when Remastered launches on September 29,” the developer confirmed on social media.
