The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on Nintendo Switch will run at 720p while docked in TV mode and 540p in Handheld mode, CD Project Red has confirmed.

It is Saber Interactive that is working in “close cooperation” with the developer to port the technically demanding story-driven open world RPG to the portable home console.

And, while it’s an inevitable compromise to see the game release on the plucky console, the team is hard at work to target a steady 30 frames per second.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes to Nintendo Switch with every piece of downloadable content that has been released for the game, which includes the ‘Hearts of Stone’ and ‘Blood and Wine’ story expansions.

You play as professional monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, who is tasked with finding a child of prophecy in a vast open-world rich with merchant cities, pirate islands, dangerous mountain passes, and forgotten caverns to explore.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition will release on Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2019.
