META Publishing and New Game Order have confirmed that The Uncertain: Light at the End will release on Nintendo Switch next year.

This story-driven third-person adventure is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has been replaced by machines.

You play as Emily, one of Earth’s only free humans, as you work to unravel the mystery behind humanity’s disappearance while the same machines that once served humankind pursue you.

Revisiting the universe of The Uncertain: Last Quiet Day, the implacable enemies and narrative decisions that you must make will continue to shape Emily’s story in an adventure that promises “new characters, original mechanics, unique puzzles, stunning locations and an original cinematic score.”

The Uncertain: Light at the End will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
