Pelikan13 has announced that their side-scrolling beat ’em up The Takeover will release on Nintendo Switch next week.
Taking inspiration from ’90s classics such as Streets of Rage and Final Fight, you will have the chance to battle solo or team up with a friend in local co-op – whether that be in the Arcade, Challenge or Survival modes.
There are four playable characters to choose between which you can swap between in real-time in the unlockable Relay Mode, with the game’s soundtrack coming packed with music from Little V Mills, Richie Branson, James Ronald and Yuzo Koshiro.
The Takeover will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 4th June 2020.
