The Pokémon Company Donates $5 Million To Charities Around The World

The Pokémon Company has announced that it has donated $5 million to charities around the world that work to improve the lives of children.

These donations were pledged to be made after Pokémon GO Fest 2020, with the charities having been selected for “their focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

In their continued commitment to the Black community, donations have also been made to organisations that support education and mentorship opportunities for Black children.

The list of organisations around the world that will receive funds from The Pokémon Company include:

  • Central Única das Favelas
  • Die Arche
  • Fundación para la Protección de la Niñez
  • Fundación Tomillo
  • IMC Weekend School
  • Institut Télémaque
  • National Indian Child Welfare Association
  • Plan International
  • Reach Out
  • Save the Children
  • Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust
  • The Trevor Project
  • World Vision
