NACON and Daedalic Entertainment have entered a co-publishing and distribution agreement for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which will now see the story-driven action-adventure game come to Nintendo Switch.
With J.R.R. Tolkien’s universe to be “faithfully represented” thanks to a partnership with Middle-earth Enterprises, the two companies chose to team up “to ensure that the game will meet the expectations of fans of The Lord of the Rings and fully leverage the power of the new generation of consoles.”
You can expect to set out on a perilous journey as Gollum, who chases the only thing that is precious to him. That will see you climb, leap and sneak your way past dangers or into advantageous spots, as you battle with Gollum’s split personality to determine whether his darker side takes over or if there is a spark of reason left in what once was Sméagol.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2022.
