Hinterland Studio has announced that The Long Dark is now available on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.
After bush pilot Will Mackenzie and Dr Astrid Greenwood become separated when their plane crashes deep in the Northern Canadian wilderness, this exploration-survival experience will challenge you to survive the harsh reality of your surroundings.
In his desperate search for Astrid, Will comes across the small town of Milton where he starts to understand the scope of this quiet apocalypse.
The game also has a “free-form, non-narrative survival sandbox,” in which your only goal is to survive for as long as you possibly can.
The Long Dark is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
