It has been revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is due to include both the classic game and the more challenging Master Quest version.

Such information was unearthed by David Young, Associate Public Relations Manager for Nintendo of America, in an interview by Conservative New Media (Interview included below). Whilst discussing the enhancements to the game, made capable through the Nintendo 3DS functionality, he confirmed that the title would also include the Master Quest version.

The origins of the Master Quest version, which includes re-worked dungeons and new puzzles, revolve around the ill-fated Nintendo 64DD, but when the console expansion failed to catch consumer attention in Japan, Nintendo pulled plans to release it.

It was eventually later available for the GameCube as a pre-order bonus for The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker in Japan and North America, with European fans able to claim a copy through the Nintendo website for a short period.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is currently due to release in June.
