Nintendo has released a new software update for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, which sees the adventure now on version 1.0.1.
This has addressed an error that could see Marin stop moving in Toronbo Shores, which would result in the game freezing.
In The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, after Link washes ashore on the mysterious Koholint Island he discovers that the only way to escape is to collect the magical instruments that are needed to wake the Wind Fish.
The Game Boy classic has been faithfully rebuilt in a new art style, challenging players to battle enemies, conquer numerous dungeons, and uncover the island’s hidden secrets.
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.

- Fixed an error where certain conditions would cause Marin to stop moving in Toronbo Shores, and the game would lock up.
- Downloading this update will also fix saved games where the error is already in effect.
