Nintendo has revealed when The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared in today’s Nintendo Direct presentation.

After Link washes ashore on the mysterious Koholint Island, he discovers that the only way to escape is to collect the magical instruments that are needed to wake the Wind Fish.

The Game Boy classic has been faithfully rebuilt in a new art style, challenging players to battle enemies, conquer numerous dungeons, and uncover the island’s hidden secrets.

It was also revealed that Kakariko Village-based gravekeeper Dampé has made a return, who, with the Chambers (Dungeon Rooms) that players will earn, can help arrange them to create the new Chamber Dungeon.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on September 20th.
