Nintendo has revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has sold more than 3.13 million copies worldwide.

That staggering number was achieved in the 10 days that followed the diorama-like remake’s release and will continue to climb at pace as the holiday season approaches.

In The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, after Link washes ashore on the mysterious Koholint Island he discovers that the only way to escape is to collect the magical instruments that are needed to wake the Wind Fish.

The Game Boy classic has been faithfully rebuilt in a new art style, challenging players to battle enemies, conquer numerous dungeons, and uncover the island’s hidden secrets.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
