The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia tops Amazon best-seller list

274-page gaming bible The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia has proved a runaway success, having stormed Amazon.com’s best sellers chart to achieve the top spot.

The lengthy tome, which has been published in the west by Dark Horse, originally saw release across Japan last year.

Its contents include never-before-seen concept art, a detailed history of Hyrule, an official chronology of the games in the series, as well as an introductory foreword penned by legendary games industry figure Shigeru Miyamoto.

Last week, Nintendo announced plans to release The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD on Wii U, whilst the development team works on the next instalment within the series that will “re-think the conventions of Zelda.”

The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia saw release this week across North America and Europe, and is available to purchase through various retailers.
