Pre-orders for The Legend of Zelda Chess Set have opened today, met with such demand that the officially licensed chess board appears to have instantly sold out.
Pitting prominent hero and villain characters from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time against each other, the pieces have been sculpted from vinyl and carefully detailed to have either a tarnished brass or wrought iron effect.
Battling across a UV-finished board, the characters chosen to represent the standard chess pieces are listed below:
