NIS America has announced that The Legend of Legacy will carve an adventure toward seeing release in Europe in winter 2016.
Developed by Furyu Corporation, the publisher has brought together SaGa series illustrator Tomomi Kobayashi, Final Fantasy XIII composer Masashi Hamauzu, Chrono Trigger writer Masato Kato, SaGa series game designer Kyoji Koizumi and 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors’ Masataka Matsuura.
The brand new IP traces seven adventurers – Liber, Meurs, Owen, Bianca, Garnet, Eloise and Filmia – as they arrive on Avalon, a mysterious island where they will pursue their dreams as explorers.
Teaming up with other explorers, they search the island for treasure, its ‘God,’ and recovering lost memories. But everything changes when they discover a singing stone, which causes them to see phantasms of Avalon’s forgotten history.
Combat is turn-based, but players can create their own formations tailored to their chosen party of three characters – each with their own role to play.
The Legend of Legacy will release physically and digitally for Nintendo 3DS in Europe in winter 2016.
